Job Title: Senior Account Manager
Reporting to: Account Director (Client Services Delivery Team)
Location: Near Lealholm, Whitby
Salary: £30,000-£35,000
Overview
We are looking for a candidate who will join our team and help us achieve our vision of being the go-to agency for businesses looking for marketing support and services to help them thrive.
Principal support to the Account Director in the Client Services Delivery Team, this key role means you will be involved in all aspects of the agency. Building trusting client relationships through regular, proactive and value-added communication whilst driving account strategy, campaign execution, leadership and development.
Key Responsibilities
Client Services Delivery:
- Take full ownership of and successfully manage both print-based and digital-led client projects of all sizes and scope within timeframes and to budget
- Build a close understanding of our clients and their business goals
- Lead communication and collaboration with the Elf design team
- Maintain oversight of and provide support to project managers within your team
- Work closely with and provide support to Account Directors
- Thoroughly understand and adhere to all aspects of internal project management processes
- Contribute to the development of internal processes
- Provide exemplary proofreading and checking support
- Be a highly skilled and effective copywriter
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Have a creative flair and provide creative input to the design process
- Be a team player
Business Development and Account Management:
- Be the main point of contact for your clients and take ownership of your client accounts
- Contribute to business development by identifying sales opportunities with both existing and new clients
- Nurture client relationships
- Widen industry knowledge relating to client base through research and analysis
Internal Responsibilities:
- Embody Elf’s Vision, Mission and Culture
- Line manage junior members within your team
- Act as a key liaison point for company stakeholders
Person Specification: Key Skills & Qualifications
Essential
- 3-4 years of professional experience in marketing or equivalent role
- Demonstrable experience in project management, client service , and working to deadlines
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
- Educated to degree level or above
- IT Literate
- Full driving licence and access to own vehicle insured for use for business travel purposes
Desirable
- Understanding of working towards financial targets and with budgets
- Previous experience in line management
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
- Educated to degree level or above
- Proficient in MS Office and G Suite
